A payment transaction being initiated or showing as successful, pending or authorised by a payment provider does not automatically mean that the booking has been confirmed by Globomo.
Globomo may conduct additional security and fraud-prevention checks before confirming an order and releasing tickets.
Where required by the payment provider or card-issuing bank, you may be required to complete an authentication process, including entering a One-Time Password (OTP) or completing another authentication method provided by your bank or card issuer.
The OTP issued by your card-issuing bank is used to authenticate the cardholder and/or authorise the transaction through the relevant payment provider.
Customers must never provide their bank OTP directly to Globomo, its employees or any third party.
To help protect customers and Globomo against fraudulent transactions, unauthorised card use, payment fraud and chargebacks, Globomo may require additional customer verification before confirming a booking.
As part of this process, Globomo may send a One-Time Password (OTP) to the customer’s registered WhatsApp mobile number.
The customer may be required to enter this OTP on the Globomo website to verify that they have access to the registered mobile number and to assist Globomo in confirming the legitimacy of the booking.
Completion of WhatsApp OTP verification does not, by itself, guarantee that a transaction is free from fraud. Globomo may use additional security checks where reasonably necessary.
For bookings subject to additional verification, the payment and booking will be considered confirmed for ticket fulfilment only after the required payment authentication and Globomo verification procedures have been successfully completed.
Depending on the circumstances, Globomo may require:
Until the required verification procedures have been completed, an order may remain pending verification and tickets may not be released.
Tickets will only be released after Globomo has completed the applicable payment and security verification procedures.
Globomo reserves the right to delay ticket delivery while an order is undergoing security or fraud-prevention checks.
If Globomo determines that a transaction presents an unacceptable risk of fraud, unauthorised payment or other security concerns, Globomo may:
Globomo is not responsible for delays caused by payment-provider authentication, bank verification, fraud screening, supplier confirmation or circumstances outside Globomo’s reasonable control.
Globomo takes payment security and fraudulent transactions seriously.

Globomo may temporarily restrict or cancel transactions where repeated payment attempts appear suspicious or inconsistent with normal purchasing behaviour.
Customers must only use a payment method that they are legally authorised to use.
Purchasing tickets using a stolen, compromised, unauthorised or third-party payment method without proper authorisation is strictly prohibited.
Globomo may cancel an order if it reasonably suspects that a payment method has been used without authorisation.
Globomo may also cooperate with payment providers, banks, card networks, law-enforcement agencies and other relevant authorities where required or permitted by law.
Customers should contact Globomo first if they believe there is an issue with a transaction, booking or ticket.
A customer must not initiate an improper or fraudulent chargeback after receiving and/or using valid tickets or services.
Where a customer initiates a payment dispute, Globomo may provide relevant transaction and booking information to the payment provider, bank or card network to assist with the investigation.

Globomo’s security and verification procedures are designed to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions but cannot guarantee that every transaction is legitimate or that fraud will never occur.
Completion of a bank OTP, 3-D Secure authentication, WhatsApp OTP or any other verification method does not constitute an absolute guarantee of the customer’s identity or legitimacy.
Globomo may therefore conduct additional checks where reasonably necessary.
